The brush – 2.25 coils of 360º chemical resistant nylon – is fast, efficient and simple to use. It forces the bristles between the plates where dried & hardened chain lube and other materials collect to form a hard build-up of abrasive dirt where the O-ring meets the chain plates.

This abrasive paste can wear through O-rings leading to further damage. It is the main reason that O-rings fail and chains develop tight spots or kinks.
