Tank Cure is a solvent-free, 2 part epoxy coating with excellent fuel and oil resistance. Designed to seal gasoline and oil tanks which have become porous and are rusting/leaking from the inside.

Before using Tank Cure epoxy, the tank should be cleaned using the Tank Cure cleaner and rust remover.

Owners of older bikes are well aware of rusty fuel tanks, with either leaks developing along seams or flakes of rust clogging fuel taps. Used tanks are becoming increasingly scarce and therefore more expensive. With the Tank Cure System, the tank can be repaired properly and permanently. Not only will the rust be treated, any holes will also be sealed.

Make sure that the coating and the tank in which it is applied, have a temperature of at least 20˚C, so the coating can spread properly. Sometimes it may be advisable to gently heat the tank with a hairdryer. When the Tank Cure Coating has been mixed according to the instructions, the tank can be filled. After sealing the filler opening, slowly rotate the tank in all directions so the coating spreads evenly on the entire interior. Do this for 15 to 20 minutes and then drain the remaining liquid through the filling opening.

The tank can be used again after 7 days of curing at room temperature.
